Logan County, Oklahoma Man Jordan Cole Weems Arrested in Logan County for First-Degree Murder

LOGAN COUNTY, OKLAHOMA — Jordan Cole Weems, a 16-year-old resident of Logan County, was arrested in Logan County in connection with the killing of his adoptive mother, whose body was found in a trash can earlier this week.

According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, Weems was taken into custody on Wednesday following an investigation at a home in the 9000 block of Treviso Trail near Edmond. Authorities say the incident occurred earlier in the week and involved the fatal assault of Spring Weems, who was reportedly struck multiple times in the head with a hammer.

Weems was transported to a Logan County detention facility and is currently facing charges of first-degree murder, desecration of a human corpse, and unauthorized removal of a dead body.
