Damion Lamarr Jacobs dies in fatal Fort Wayne, Ind. shooting

Fatal Fort Wayne, Ind. shooting death of Damion Lamarr Jacobs – Obituary

Damion Lamarr Jacobs, 19, of Fort Wayne, was shot and killed in southeast Fort Wayne on Wednesday evening, authorities confirmed.

The Allen County Coroner’s Office ruled Jacobs’ death a homicide after he was discovered in a parking lot behind the 6000 block of Holgate Drive around 8:30 p.m. Police responded to reports of a man down and pronounced him dead at the scene.

Officials have not released further details about the circumstances of the shooting as the investigation continues. Jacobs’ death is the second homicide reported in Allen County this year.
