Fatal Harlingen motorcycle crash death of Abelardo Javier Garza – Obituary
Abelardo Javier Garza, 22, of Harlingen, died last Wednesday in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Grimes Avenue and TX-499 in northwest Cameron County. The crash occurred around 10 p.m. and involved a motorcycle and an SUV.
Garza, who was riding the motorcycle, was transported to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries. The SUV driver remained at the scene to render aid and speak with authorities.
Police have not announced any charges, and a full investigation into the circumstances of the fatal crash is ongoing.
