Christopher White, a 30-year-old resident of Lancaster City, has been identified as the e-bike rider who lost his life in a crash in East Hempfield Township.
According to the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office, emergency personnel responded to the intersection of Dartmouth Drive and Wilson Avenue around 4:54 p.m. following a collision involving White’s electric bike and a crossover SUV.
When authorities arrived, White was found lying in the roadway and was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy later determined that he died from multiple traumatic injuries, and the incident was ruled accidental.
Police reported that the SUV driver, a 75-year-old from Manor Township, was not hurt in the crash.
The investigation remains ongoing, and officials are asking anyone with information to reach out to East Hempfield Township police.
