Authorities have identified 66-year-old Hershel Trotter as the bicyclist who lost his life in a hit-and-run incident in Nashville, Tennessee. The crash occurred around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday along Harding Place.
Police say the vehicle involved, a Nissan Altima, struck Trotter and fled the scene. Investigators later located the car on Maxwell Road in the Antioch area.
Law enforcement officials continue to investigate the case and are actively searching for the driver responsible.
