Fatal Goshen, Indiana shooting death of Lisa Adkins – Obituary
Authorities have identified 50-year-old Lisa Adkins as the victim in a fatal shooting that occurred Monday afternoon in downtown Goshen, Indiana.
Police responded to reports of gunfire near Clinton and Third Street shortly before 5 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found Adkins at the intersection of Main and Clinton Streets suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said the suspect fled the area before officers arrived. Law enforcement later located the suspect and the vehicle in Fulton County.
The Elkhart County Homicide Unit has assumed control of the investigation as authorities continue working to determine the circumstances surrounding the deadly shooting.
