Authorities have confirmed the identity of a man who was killed in a multi-vehicle collision in Charlton, with officials reporting that a 52-year-old Holland resident lost his life in the crash.
According to the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office, the incident occurred on the morning of March 31 along Route 20 East near the Sturbridge town line. Investigators said multiple vehicles were involved in the collision, leading to fatal injuries for one of the drivers.
The victim, Adam Julian, was originally from Worcester and had attended Tantasqua Regional High School, where he studied carpentry. He later worked for more than a decade as a carpenter with a Charlton-based company.
Family accounts describe him as a hardworking and skilled tradesman who took pride in his craft and valued time spent with loved ones. He is remembered for his close bond with his children and his passion for animals.
Julian is survived by his son, daughter, sister, and extended family members. Funeral arrangements include scheduled visitation and a memorial service in Southbridge, with the family requesting donations be made in his memory to an animal shelter.
